In October 2019, we started working on our project Bleed to Lead. The aim of the project is to impact one community at a time by fostering period leadership. We work closely with young girls who are passionate about leading through an impact by providing them the right skill sets needed for the same, e.g., how to deliver Menstrual Hygiene workshops. They have already started delivering workshops in government schools of Delhi and Noida with proper guidance.

 

These girls are students from Teach for India who've been selected to join our initiative after having shown interest in the area of Menstrual Hygiene. This is certainly one of the best representations of peer learning and student leadership. They are being mentored to further research and work towards eradicating period poverty, combating menstruation-related myths and taboos, menstruation, and human rights, etc. We aim to work with them and other students across the globe to develop period leadership thus, impacting more communities.
